Joining and Population
- To join please fill out the application on the joining board, then post. Please wait to be accepted.
- No sineque or Vampire may be older than 1500 years of age. If you would like your vampire/sineque to be older than this then they can contact iLove via OOC board and if she accepts they will be part of a counsel. All vampire or sineque between the ages of 1500 and 2000 are pure vampire/sineque. They were born vampire or sineque, they were not 'changed so to speak. (They may not be older than 2000.)
- For every 2 female characters there must be AT LEAST one male when registering characters.
- For every one Vampire there must be one sineque...roughly.
- For every one vampire or sineque there must be 2 humans when joining.
- Do not join more than you can handle.
- You may join as almost anything...most roleplay wolves, big cats, vampires, humans, sineques(shape shifters) and more.
- You may not join as anything with wings, that is a special case thing. If you join as a bird that's a different story and I will allow it, but no winged vampires, angels or winged wolves.
- We accept coloration with wolves or anything else like blue with red stripes...just an example. Not however with Sineques, your animal will be literally colored.
S I N E Q U E
- There is no limit to how many of the same shift a person can have but for convenience a list of all used shifts is located here.
- Shifts are 25-50% larger than a literal animal of that shift. Strength however can be double that of the average animal.
- Shifts are literally colered but may have different eyes or rare markings as long as the colors are basically the same and no abnormalties are too noticeable.
- No mythical shifts unless granted by iLove, if you would like one ask on the OOC board and iLove will decide. If she decides no then do not bother her about it. She'll tell you why and maybe later on she'll give you something special. :)
- There are 2 Sineque governments. The Ferus and the Salus. If you would like to join one of these immediately put whichever as your wat party. If you would rather not join one immediately or ever than leave that space blank.
- If between the ages of 14-18 then your character will attened a highschool. The most popular highschool for Sineques is Acantha High close to downtown.
- If your sineque is not a member to either Ferus or Salus they can get a place to live elsewhere either in the wild with a pack or herd of some sort and/or a place where a human could live comfortably. If neither than you must roleplay out your character in the streets or lonely in the wild.
V A M P I R E
- Vampires do not need human blood. They do need some sort of blood however. If your vampire is a member of Pax Pacis they generally take it from cows, seeing as there aren't many cow sineque shifts and most of the sineques aren't friends with the cows. The Impetus tend to take it from wolves and close friends to the sineques just to start trouble.
- Sleep is unnessecary and vampires lose those types of brain waves when becoming a vampire.
- They are very strong. Newborns generally tend to be strongest but they have little control over their strength.
- Vampires are not bothered by the sun. However they cannot tan, so being in the sun can make them quite crispy and it wears down their strength and morality.
- Some vampires, mostly Impetus have eyes that change color when hungry. However the more peaceful vampire's eyes will not change in color.
- Vampires are not born with an ability. They must go to the top of the mountain to get any blessings. The sineques generally make it quite hard for them though.
- There are 2 Vampire governments. The Impetus and the Pax Pacis. If you would like to join one of these immediately put whichever as your wat party. If you would rather not join one immediately or ever than leave that space blank.

- If your vampire is not a member to either Impetus or Pax Pacis they can get a place to live elsewhere in a place where a human could live comfortably. If neither than you must roleplay out your character in the streets when they aren't elsewhere.
A N I M A L S
- You may join as any animal. The animal you join as may have any coloration you'd like.
- There are four dens hidden on the site. It is up to you to find them. You may live in any of those four dens or either of the two packs. However you must role play joining the pack/den. If you do not want to be in either you can start your own pack, but that means you have a place to stay and their must be at least 5 other characters in the pack. If they stay there long enough, iLove will give their pack a name and add it on the list of places under 'Wild'.
- For horses, a herd can be formed anywhere as long as there is a stallion with a claimed mare in the territory.
- Horses can roleplay with night mares and unicorns, however they cannot breed and a unicorn or night mare can never be dominant to any horse or other equine.
- It is the same way with cats. If a group of lions make a pride somewhere then iLove can title the pride and put their name on that land.
- Herds, prides and packs can be on the same territory, however if the prey gets scarce lions and wolves may attack the horses or the wolves and lions will attack each other.
- There are dog packs in the streets of downtown. If someone would like to start an actual pack with an alpha dog let iLove know and it will be arranged.
- If your animal is something that swims...don't expect to have many friends because most people do not role play creatures that are dependant on water. If you do however, your character must stay close to the body of water in which they are dependant.
H U M A N S
- Humans between the ages of 14-18 must attend a high school, either Zyanya if they are a bit on the wealthier side or Acantha if they live in the downtown area.
- Humans living in the estates may own horses. They can capture them in the wild and break them if they so choose or sell them to others. Most humans in the estates own horses, cattle, sheep and other farm animals.
- Humans live in the 'town' but they also go camping, hiking, hunting and riding in the wild.
- If you are a human that does not want to be changed to either sineque or vampire please let that be known when role playing with a character that's either vampire or sineque. Your human may also choose not to be informed of these magic and supernatural things.
- Humans can also live with wolf packs or in a pride with lions and such however it is very unlikely that it happens and usually only with a human that has the abilities of telepathy or mind read or both.
- Humans can get involved in magic and ave abilities. They will not be a sorcerer or sorceress until they have a mentor that teaches them more.
S O R C E R O R S & S O R C E R E S S
- A human that has become very skilled in using magic, knows more spells that are unaccessable by the fairy and often can teach their magic to others.
- They usually form villages with dragon riders where they live and do magic.
- Most are natives to Chara. They have dark skin and pray to many gods. If bothered by vampires, sineques or other humans they are generally very hostile.
- In order to become a sorcerer you must be taught by a sorcerer.
D R A G O N R I D E R S
- Mere humans with magic experience that have a dragon and are in total control.
- Dragons are dangerous and dragon riders that have learned to use their dragons can be very powerful.
- They often live in the villages with the sorcerors.

Fighting & Healing
- There are two kinds of fighting; casual battling and attack/war style fighting
- For both forms of battling rules need to be set up by the participants prior to the start of the fight.
Casual Battling
- This is the type of fighting that happens when one creature challenges for a pack or a den and also when two creatures wish to fight for no reason other than thrill of battle, blood lust, or to train skills.
Attack/War Style
- This is for surprise ambushes and fighting during wars. In this type of fighting enchantments and amulets can be used and killing is up to the victor. (If you don't want or character killed during a fight put that in the beginning in OOC that you don't want the character killed if it comes to it and the other player should respect that.
Standard? or Auto Hit?
- In Standard if one does not want to batle in auto-hit this is the form of battling they will ply out. Standard fights are much longer than auto-hit fights for the character's player decides when attacks hit, miss, and the extentof any damage done. (Dodging every attack is a form of power-playing and not acknowledging any damage cause by attacks that hit is god-playing.)
- in Auto-Hit this form of battling is much faster for it involves every move hitting. Also the attacker says what the attack does; whereas in standard battling that would be considered power-play. Though you can say what the attack does it doesn't mean one can perform impossible feats, such as tearing a muscle of breaking a bone in a single move.
Power-Play and God-Playing
- Power-play is pretending you have amazing powers, this includes playing you have enchantments/amulets you don't have. Power-play (Pp) is also when you state another creature's reaction or damage done in battle (unless playing auto-hit). Another form of Pp is inflicting non realistic injuries; such as breaking a bone with one attack, and attacking twice in a row (example: scratching another character and biting them in the same post), unless you have the amulet Double Team. ·Note: Knocking a creature over then either biting or scratching them is not considered power-play on this site.
- God-Playing, also known as God-modeling is when a creature refuses to take any damage received or is played out as being so much stronger than another that any attack that hits doesn't hurt them.
·Note: If you are fighting with someone and think they are either power-playing or god-playing but are not sure do not post a reply and copy the post in question of the OOC board and ask for the opinion of iLove.
Healing
- MUSCLES-To tear, rip through, cut, or disconnect muscle/tendons from bone would take about 3-4 attacks to the area. To wound the muscle/tendon it takes 2-3 attacks to the area.
- Torn tendons/muscles will take two weeks of real time play to heal (unaided).
- An injured muscle/tendon will take one week real time to heal (unaided).
- BONES-It would take 4-5 strong attacks to the same area to break a bone.
- Bones will take 3 real time weeks to heal (unaided). (Note: Larger creatures and often males will have stronger/thicker muscles and bones. So if your character is smaller than the one it's attacking it may take some more work. )
- LARGE WOUNDS-Large wounds will take 5 real time days to heal (unaided). (NOTE: After a battle you must play out the injuries to your character.)
- The use of the common heal enchantment or a soak in the lake of Avalon will fully heal small wounds, but only take 2-3 days off the heal time to all other injuries.
- The use of the rare enchantment of Mega Heal can fully heal small and large wounds and can take 5 days off the healing times of more serious wounds. ·Note: Sometimes wounds get infected and a creature can/may die from the infection. Heal and Mega Heal cannot clear up infections.
- If you find yourself in a battle before your wounds are fully healed you will still have to play them out. The wounds will also make your character much weaker, thus more damage can be inflicted faster.
Breeding Point System
10 points are needed to conceive children.Winter breeding = 8 points
Spring breeding = 7 points
Summer breeding = 5 points
Autumn breeding= 6 points
Then after the season point are determined the moderator of the board will roll a die and if the number on the die plus the point from the season equal 10 or more then the female conceives.
Still births and physical abnormalities depend on the type of breeding, condition and age of the female, size of the litter, and the family history of abnormalities for both parents. I will role the 20 sided dice if one of the above are in the mix and if I get 18 there will be a still birth. If I role a 20 there will be a physical abnormality. Anything else means they are healthy.
Gender will either be the parents choice or it will be admin’s choice due to the balancing of the game. This will be made clear when you visit Naida Lake and she gives statistics. It is possible that you will not know if you get to decide or I do when you visit her. If you request, however, I will make sure they are not all one gender if there are more than 2 offspring. (ask while getting statistics in OOC please)
H O R S E S & E Q U I N E S
- There will be one foal. There is a possibility of twins if the admin rolls a 100 sided die and lands on the number 55.
- The gender of the foal may be decided by the parents. No interference from admin.
- If a foal is born please make note of it on the OOC board with Name, Gender, Species, Both parents and if it is born into a herd; which herd it is a part of.
- If the admin rolls a 37 on a 50 sided die then there will be a still born foal.
W O L V E S & C A N I N E S
- There will be anywhere from 2 to 8 pups decided by a 6 sided die.
- Statistics will be given by Naida at Naida Lake.
- Gender will be decided either by admin or by parents. Check Naida lake for current admin limits.
- If the admin rolls a 37 on a 50 sided die then there will be a stillborn.
- If the pups are born into a den or pack please post on OOC board along with their names, Genders, Species and Both parents names.
F E L I N E S
- There will be any number of kittens or cubs from 2 to 8 determined by a 6 sided die.
- Statistics will be given at Naida Lake by Naida.
- The gender of the kittens/cubs may be decided by the parents. No interference from admin.
- If a kitten/club is born into a clan or a pack please make note of it on the OOC bored along with their names, Genders, Species and Both parents names.
- If the admin rolls a 37 on a 50 sided die then there will be a stillborn kitten/cub.
B I R D S
- The amount of eggs laid will be decided by the species of the bird. This will be given at Naida lake by Naida.
- Birds may decide the gender of their offspring.
- Post the Names, Genders, Species and Both Parents names on OOC board please.
- Birds CANNOT interbreed. Meaning they must be the same type of bird to reproduce.
- If the admin rolls a 37 on a 50 sided die then there will be a stillborn chick.
- If eggs are not protected then it is possible they will be eaten or some may freeze to death.
H U M A N S
- Sorceress, Sorcerer, Human and Dragon rider are all considered as 'human'
- There will only be one child per birth unless a 67 is rolled on a 100 sided die. Then there will be twins.
- If twins, then the gender is decided of both by the parents. If not, gender may or may not be parents choice. It will be listed at Naida Lake.
- Naida will give you the statistics at Naida Lake.
- Post the Names, Genders, Species and Both Parents names on OOC board please.
- 6 years in one year real time. That means they will have a birthday every 2 months. So after one real year, your child will be 6 years old.
- If the admin rolls a 37 on a 50 sided die then there will be a miscarriage or the child dies at birth, it is the choice of the parents which.
- If a human becomes a sineque or vampire while pregnant, their child may have oddly colored eyes or marks on their skin like that of the animal the mother became as a sineque but they will be totally human and unchangeable. It is not unlikely for the mother to murder her human child once it's born.
S I N E Q U E X S I N E Q U E
- If sineque shifts are of the same family, such as a leopard and a tiger, a mix of the two will most likely be produced. (A Leoper or a Tigard)
- If sineque shifts are not in the same family, such as a panda bear and a snake, then the offspring will either be bear, snake or every 1 out of 6 times the offspring is something completely unrelated to the parents shifts.
(I will roll a 6 sided dice and if I get 3 there will be an unrelated shift species in one or more, depending on litter size, of the offspring) - Sineques will produce the average amount of offspring that the parents shifts would have. Example: A horse generally only gives birth to 1 offspring, a lion generally gives birth to 4 or 5. I’ll chose the higher number and the average would be 3 offspring.
- It is possible to have one species of shift be born before the other, due to gestation periods.
- 20% chance one child will kill others due to size difference before being born. ADMIN CHOOSES WHEN NECESSARY TO ROLL DIE.
(This will be decided by using a 5 sided dice, if I roll a 4 then one offspring will kill however many other offspring I roll on that same die.) - Fetus grow as the shift they will have as sineques. At least a week after being born they will shift into humans, (admin decides when they shift the first time).
- It takes at least a year and a half for the child to have good control over when they shift. The shift will grow as slow as a human child would. However sineques grow twice as fast. So a dog sineque will have a puppy shift for many many years, at least until they are 5 years old. Then they will start to get bigger. They can however start eating meat and hard foods as soon as they shift into a human the first time.
- There is a 10% chance that the mother will not be able to support offspring if the unborn child is larger than a normal human baby, especially if there are multiple children larger than human babies.
(This will be chosen also by a die with 10 sides, if I roll a 9 then the mother will die or she can chose to kill her child/children instead of herself) - The mother will have a 70% chance of the offspring being in her shift family if she switches shifts while pregnant.
- Switching shifts is dangerous and could cause complications. If the mother switches during pregnancy another die will be used.
(If the number 7 comes up on a 20 sided die then at least one of the children will die or the children survive and the mother dies.) - If mother keeps human form during pregnancy than there will be a 60% chance that the offspring will be in the father's shifts family.
- Sineques unfortunately cannot be born with magic.
- Every once in awhile a sineque will be born with a mythical shift.
(I will roll a 30 sided die 3 times and if all 3 numbers are at the most 10 away from each other than with supervision, meaning please ask me first, you may chose a mythical as one of your child's shifts. On special occasions I may allow more than one in a family to be a mythical shift, but that's rare.)
V A M P I R E X S I N E Q U E
- This only will work if the male is vampire and female is sineque because the female must be able to grow.
- There is a 50% chance the result will be a mere human.
(six sided die will be rolled, if the number is even then the offspring is human, odd the offspring will be something else.) - There is 10% chance the result will be one or the other. Completely vampire or completely sineque. (I will roll a 100 sided dice and if I get a multiple of 10 where the first digit is even it will be completely sineque, if the first digit is odd then the offspring will be completely vampire.)
- There is only a 40% chance it will be a mix between the two. Then the following characteristics will be decided by a 6 sided die.
- skin temperature (even:hot, odd:cold)
- necessity of blood to survive (even:no, odd:yes)
- animal shift (even:yes, odd:no)
- Born with a magic ability(1-4: no, 5 or 6:yes)
- Has fangs in human form(even:no, odd:optional)
- Necessity of sleep to survive(even:yes, odd:no)
- Characteristics in human form of a certain animal[see references, under Sineques{The characteristics will be those of the mothers shift}](even:yes, odd:no)
- If no to above, then all sense are heightened and sunlight will burn their skin and eyes. However, it is not unbearable.
- Sineque blood will not be poisonous to a hybrid.
- if a hybrid reproduces, the result will be two hybrids, twins, however they will both need to be rolled for.
- More often if a hybrid reproduces there will be a mixed litter of sineque, hybrids and vampires.
V A M P I R E X H U M A N
- The child will have an attraction to blood, but can survive without it.
- The child will have a hotter body temperature than humans, but less than sineques.
- The child will have supernatural strength and senses.
- The child will grow very quickly physically and mentally, it will reach maturity at age 7.
- These hybrids can have children.
- They are not venomous
- Possibly born with magic.
